Our Mission
HGWiki was created to be the most comprehensive and accurate Highguard resource available. We launched on January 28, 2026 — just two days after Highguard's official release — to provide players with the guides and tier lists they need to improve their gameplay.
Unlike generic gaming wikis, we focus on actionable advice. Our tier lists come with explanations. Our guides include specific strategies. Every piece of content is designed to help you win more matches in Highguard.
Tier List Methodology
Our Highguard tier lists are created through a rigorous process that combines multiple data sources and expert analysis. Here's how we rank wardens and weapons:
1. Data Collection
- • Official game data from playhighguard.com
- • Professional player opinions and tournament results
- • Community feedback from Reddit, Discord, and forums
- • Gaming media analysis (TheGamer, Beebom, esports.gg)
2. Evaluation Criteria
- • Versatility — Performance across all match phases
- • Skill Floor — Accessibility for average players
- • Skill Ceiling — Potential in skilled hands
- • Team Synergy — How well they fit into compositions
- • Meta Relevance — Current competitive viability
3. Tier Definitions
- • S Tier — Must-pick. Dominant in the current meta.
- • A Tier — Strong. Reliable in most situations.
- • B Tier — Solid. Effective but situational.
- • C Tier — Weak. Requires specific conditions to succeed.
4. Review & Update
- • Tier lists are reviewed after every major patch
- • Community feedback is incorporated continuously
- • All changes are documented in our patch notes
